Present Perfect Tense adalah suatu tense dalam bahasa Inggris yang menyatakan perubahan bentuk kata kerja dengan tanpa diketahui waktu spesifiknya. Present perfect tense digunakan untuk:  

1. Menjelaskan suatu kejadian yang dimulai pada masa lampau (past) dan masih berlanjut sampai sekarang. Contoh: We have lived in here for three years.  
2. Menjelaskan kejadian yang dimulai dan berakhir di masa lampau dan efeknya masih berlanjut sampai sekarang. Contoh: I have tasted the cake.

Present Perfect Tense adalah suatu tense dalam bahasa Inggris yang menyatakan perubahan bentuk kata kerja dengan tanpa diketahui waktu spesifiknya. Present perfect tense digunakan untuk:  

1. Menjelaskan suatu kejadian yang dimulai pada masa lampau (past) dan masih berlanjut sampai sekarang. Contoh: We have lived in here for three years.  
2. Menjelaskan kejadian yang dimulai dan berakhir di masa lampau dan efeknya masih berlanjut sampai sekarang. Contoh: I have tasted the cake.
3. Menunjukkan bahwa suatu kejadian terjadi berulang kali di masa lampau. Contoh: I have read the book several times.
4. Untuk mengungkapkan kejadian yang baru saja terjadi atau dilakukan. Contoh: My father has just gone to the office.
